Joining two ropes is another one of those tasks that is easy to do. Joining them such that they come apart, is not so easy. We wanted to utilize this opportunity to show you how to put them together quickly, if the need arises. As well as, one set of knots that can be done and easily taken apart.

Please keep in mind with any and all knots that as soon as you put a knot in a rope, that you have lessened the strength of the ropes itself. Each and every knot that you put into a rope, weakens it therefore, you need to do what you can to use the rope with as few a knots as possible.

Also, as I demonstrate in the video, one of the things you need to practice is tying your knots when you cannot see them. This will help with your familiarity of the knot and help you get prepared when tying knots in the dark for example. We have found a few other drawings and pictures to also help with these knots so check them out below.
